What a GORGEOUS day here in PA! The sun woke me up around 6:30 AM, and it was already pretty high in the sky…but I got out of the house, inspired by the still long shadows and warm morning light. These photos fall into two categories… “Abandoned” and “Nature, Interrupting” (a continual project of mine). I am totally fasicanted by abandoned buildings–I always wonder what they once were. At one time, I’m sure they were busy, full of life, and clean. What’s the story that has brought them to this?

Saturday, May 30th, 2009Crazy Weather = Happy Photographer
Thursday, April 9th, 2009Welcome back! The weather has been crazy lately, which makes for some great photographic opportunities. The skies have been raining and shining all in the same day, and I’ve been itching to get out and take some pictures of it. Here are a few from the last shoot I did in Pottstown. A few are a continuation of the “Welcome to Pottstown” series, and a few are part of “Nature, Interrupted.” Enjoy!
Welcome to Pottstown
Sunday, March 22nd, 2009Pottstown, Pennsylvania…It’s an interesting city. Or, as I was told by an interesting character today as I was walking downtown, “It aint no city. It’s a township.” At first it seemed quite boring, even ugly, to me. The more I’ve been here, though, the more intriguing it is. I love “old” things–signs, pictures, roads…I love to wonder what it used to be like. That’s what I feel like when I drive down High Street, and so I thought I’d give you a little tour.
