The most perfect fall day was before us, with golden sunshine and virtually no humidity. After weeks of heavy rain and flooding in Pennsylvania, it was a welcome respite from the dreary clouds. Dana started her day early with her girls by her side, nerves high while she anxiously prepared for this wonderful journey she had been waiting for. Kyle prepared himself in the simple way guys do, though nothing could quite prepare him for the beauty he was about to see.
Their paths converged at the park where they planned to have their first look, and as Kyle turned around to see his bride, his mouth literally dropped. As they took in this moment together, their nerves began to melt away, and they started their day simply enjoying the time together.
Kyle and Dana’s wedding was such a wonderful celebration of love and friendship for us, and it was such an honor to photograph their day for them. The first look, the vows, the sand ceremony (once they are combined, they are impossible to separate), and the celebration of the evening were some of the highlights for me. Kyle and Dana, blessings to you as you embark on this journey in a covenant relationship with each other. We love you both!
The First Look!

This was probably one of the most touching moments for me–when Dana and Kyle danced, along with their parents, both of whom have been married for many years. They danced to the song that Kyle’s parents danced to at their wedding 29 years ago. Such a beautiful moment.
